Clifton Nurseries is excited and delighted to have won not just one but two BALI awards in the BALI National Landscape Awards 2018!
Receiving a BALI National Landscape Award is one of the landscape industry's highest accolades so we're incredibly proud to have won two in the same year. BALI awards are designed to reward the best of the best in the landscape industry and to celebrate the hard work, quality and commitment of BALI members in the current year.
Judging by a panel of well-known industry figures took place over the summer, working to a strict set of judging criteria across a range of award categories.
Clifton Nurseries was thrilled to be awarded two BALI awards; one for building a large garden in Surrey and the other for maintaining another Surrey garden.
BALI Award: Domestic Garden Construction - cost over £250K

Designed by Cherry Mills, the Clifton Nurseries landscaping team enjoyed building this stunning large Surrey garden. Having the garden on a severe slope had its fair share of challenges but the team's hard work paid off with the resulting beautiful garden including a range of different features and spaces for all the family. Our primary aim in building any garden is always to deliver a garden that meets and even exceeds the customer's expectations, so we were pleased to hear that the customer was thrilled with the final results.
BALI Award: Grounds Maintenance - Private, value under £50K
It's always fun to see gardens over time and, having designed and built this English landscape garden in Surrey, we're now very lucky to have the opportunity to revisit it on a regular basis as a part of a maintenance contract. Designed by Carla Jones (inhouse garden designer), the garden includes extensive lawns and borders as well as many other features which our team expertly maintains to an award winning standard.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony for the BALI National Landscape Awards 2018 takes place on Friday 7th December when the winners of the Principal and Special Awards, as well as the coveted Grand Award, will be announced. We wish all the worthy award winners the very best of luck on 7th December, with obviously a very special 'Best of Luck' reserved for our own Clifton Nurseries talented teams!
