Grosvenor Crescent Roof Terrace

This roof terrace was designed and constructed as part of the multi million pound redevelopment of Grosvenor Crescent by Grosvenor Estates.

The relatively small space was dominated by a six meter high wall with ventilation ducts. To make the terrace an inviting and tranquil space, we used pre-grown ivy panels in bespoke containers to draw the eye down to a lower level and antiqued mirrors help give a sense of space within the confinement. Maximum use of the terrace space has been made using planters and a small level change to create a dining room and a lounging area outdoors.

Two pairs of roof trained Photinia 'Red Robin' help to create the illusion that the space is partially under cover, while also combatting the effect of the high walls.

Bespoke joinery throughout the roof terrace for the planters, built in bench seating and Versailles style containers ensure that this garden was built to the highest standard.
