Contemporary Town House Garden

This sleek, contemporary town house garden in Wandsworth was designed by one of our inhouse Garden Designers and then planted up our highly skilled landscaping team.

The main objective of this garden was to create a spectacular view from the house whilst also ensuring that the ultra-contemporary design and style of the interior of the house was reflected in the outdoor space.

Main features within the garden include Buxus balls in both the lawn and the borders, and Amelanchier trees acting as living sculptures within the lawn. The Quercus Ilex pleached trees and parasol Parrotia trees flanking the swimming pool add a wonderful architectural statement with the contemporary look further accentuated by the clean white paving of the lawn path leading up to the pool.

The planting in the garden has a strong structural feel created by the Yew hedging, Buxus cubes, clipped Pittosporum and Buxus balls while the perennials add a slightly softer touch with their pops of pastel colours. The key perennials used throughout include Salvia ‘Caradonna’, white Roses, Carex ‘Ice Dance’, Perovskia ‘Little Spire’ and Hydrangea ‘Strong Annabelle’.
