Clifton Nurseries are based in West London and Surrey and specialise in high end quality domestic gardens, roof terrace and planter installation and maintenance along with general landscaping including garden design and build. All our work is local to the area serviced by fully equipped vans and professional uniformed staff. We have an excellent reputation for the quality of our work and exceptional customer service.
Skills Requirement
You will be required to have good plant knowledge and an understanding of correct horticultural practice together with experience of working with all plant types including, shrubs and herbaceous, trees and perennials. A proactive individual with a good work ethic, a team player and reliability are essential, and you must be hard working and able to work in all types of weather.
- A minimum of 2 years proven gardening experience.
- Good practical skills in garden maintenance, involving pruning hedges and shrubs together with flowerbed and planter maintenance.
- Knowledge of pests and diseases and the treatment of these and products are required.
- Installing & maintaining irrigation systems
- Seasonal planting and ad hoc planting
- You must be able to show great communication skills with customers and your colleagues.
Essential Criteria
- Effective communicator
- Formal horticultural qualifications (RHS 2 or equivalent).PA1/PA6 spraying certificates an advantage but not necessary.
Working hours are 7.30 am–4.30pm Mon–Fri.
