The arrival of our latest stock of olive trees here at Clifton Nurseries is rapidly becoming an annual cause of celebration! Olive trees at Clifton Nurseries

Every year our buyers venture out in search of the best range of olive trees, large and small, old and new - in many different shapes. And every year we look forward in anticipation to seeing them unloaded off the lorries - to see what this year's range includes.

Olive trees (botanical name Olea europaea) are ideal garden plants for the South of England. Their silvery grey leaves match pretty much any garden scheme, contemporary or traditional.

Olives remain extremely popular and versatile trees, and quite rightly so, the beautiful silvery grey leaves look stunning against open blue summer skies and instantly remind us of the Mediterranean.

An olive tree in your garden invokes an instant touch of the Mediterranean so add some to your outdoor space and you can holiday at home without any airport queues!
