We think the phrase 'Good things come in small sizes' applies perfectly to our new pocket show garden at Clifton Nurseries London!
Our new pocket show garden was designed for us by the talented Jake Curley, one of this year's finalists in the RHS Young Garden Designer of the Year competition - the finals of which will be at this year's RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
The garden was designed to provide inspiration and to illustrate how even a small space can be transformed into an all year round space with colour, interest, movement, and style. It showcases the skills of the talented Clifton Nurseries team; having been designed by Jake, it was then built by the Clifton Nurseries landscapers before being planted up by the Clifton Nurseries sales team.
Colour, Contrast and Movement
Totally contained within bespoke fibreglass planters, the garden includes a range of seasonal summer plants surrounding a bubbling water table and will be replanted on a seasonal basis, ensuring variety and interest whenever you visit. Late summer perennials and ornamental grasses take the stage initially; the swaying grasses bring movement to the scene and their foliage contrasts to that of the purple, yellow and pink perennials. Outdoor lighting within the garden enhances the garden in the evenings, with the subtle ambient light reflecting off the trickling water feature and highlighting the dancing grasses.
